Eligibility Criteria for the FCC Apprenticeship Program
Education:
- Candidates should have at least a 2nd Division in Matric (Science) and a FSc or Technical Diploma to be considered
- Chemical Plant Operator: Requires FSc or Matric with a Three-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Chemical Technology
- Mechanical Technician (Fitter, Machinist): Requires Matric with a Three-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical Technology
- Instrument Technician: Requires Matric with a Three-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Instrument or Electronics Technologies
- Electrical Technician: Requires Matric with a Three-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical Technology
- Laboratory Analyst: Requires FSc. with Chemistry
Age: The maximum age limit is 28 years old as of December 15, 2023

- Applicants currently undergoing or having completed apprenticeships in any industry need not apply.
