Australia Awards Scholarships (ADS) Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to get an Australia Awards Scholarship, student must:
- The age limit should be 18 – 45 years
- Citizen of a participating country (check-in below)
- Not being a citizen of Australia
- Not be de facto, married, engaged, or in a relationship with someone who owns, or is qualified to have, permanent residence in Australia or New Zealand.
- Applicants of Cook Islands, Niue, and Tokelau with New Zealand citizenship are eligible but first need to apply for a student visa
- Not be currently serving military personnel
- Not won a long-term Australia Award during the past four years.
- Not hold convictions of criminal activities
- Satisfy the admission requirements of the institution
- Higher degree holders do not apply for lower degree
